Pune Investment:AMD Unveils Its Largest Global Design Center in Bengaluru, India
AMD inaugurated its largest global design center in Bengaluru on November 28. The center, named AMD Techostar, will cover an area of 500,000 square feet and will be situated in the Brookfield area of East Bengaluru. The center is part of AMD’s USD 400 million investment plan for the next five years to expand research and development in India. The state-of-the-art campus will provide employment opportunities for 3000 AMD engineers.
The campus consists of various spaces, like a modern research and development lab. The design center encompasses 60,000 square feet of contemporary R&D laboratories and a sizable demonstration center where attendees can examine AMD products and solutions.

This campus will function as a preeminent hub for the advancement of cutting-edge products, including gaming GPUs and PCs, high-performance CPUs designed for data centers, as well as adaptive SoCs and FPGAs intended for embedded devices.
Mark Papermaster, executive vice president of AMD, stated that the new design center will propel technology and product development across the AMD portfolio, which will fuel the next generation of high-performance, adaptive, and AI computing solutions for customers across the world.
